I’m Alister and I’m a 2 year old retriever mix looking for my forever home! I’m the sweetest cuddle pup! I’m almost full grown, about 60 pounds but I’m a pretty tall boy - which puts me at the perfect height for convenient head pats! I’m potty trained and kennel trained. I’m good with dog-savvy cats and I am friends to all dogs! Humans I’m more cautious with, it might take me a little bit to open up but when I do, I’ll be your best cuddly companion! I’m super protective of my family, which means I’ll need patience while I’m learning that I don’t have to be nervous! A good example of my protectiveness is the vacuum. I hate the vacuum. I’m terrified of it, actually. But I will stand right there by your side while you battle it. No one should face vacuums alone. I love play time with my fur siblings, but I’m just as happy to hang out with a toy or bone. Balls are my favorite and I love fetch! I’m…still learning to give you the ball back, though.
