Marco is looking for his Polo, and it's not the one we have here at our shelter. He's looking for a human Polo, and we want that to be you! Marco is an amazing, 52 lb., sweetheart who is a total ham when it comes to people. We think he would benefit from an active home. One where he can go on super fun hikes/long walks with his new family. He's got heaps and heaps of energy, so his owner will need to be ready to designate time for him to deplete his energy sources. Marco seems to be a sucker for a good toy to play with, and he sometimes struggles to understand the concept of sharing unless a second toy or maybe a few treats are involved. For both food and toy time, Marco will thrive in a home where his family allows him the time and space to enjoy both of those things without any interruptions. This is even more so important when there is a resident dog in the home. During his dog-to-dog, Marco came on quite strong, but the other dog was able to match that energy, so they did quite well together. Due to Marco's headstrong personality, it's highly recommended that any potential adopters with a dog bring their dog in to meet Marco to ensure they're a good fit for each other. Marco is truly a pup for the books, and he wants to go home with you!
