This cat is “Torta-lly” ready to find a home of his own! Torta has a lot of fans at the Adoption Center who are cheering him on, and we can’t wait for you to meet him! If you love lil’ cats who are sweet and sensitive, Torta might just be your match! He needs some time to settle into a new home, but once he does, his loving nature will shine. To help Torta open up, he just needs some time, a slow approach, playtime with wand toys and some delicious snacks (he’s a fan of lickable treats)! Once he’s come out of his shell, Torta will slowly and softly blink at you, which we call “kitty kisses!” He also chirps for attention and will lean into gentle petting. Torta prefers to set the pace of interactions with his friends, and he will come to you when he’s looking for some love. He’s a cat who knows what he likes in life! Torta would probably do best in a home with teens and up. Torta would do best in a quiet home with a patient adopter who can help him come out of his shell. Adopters should use a slow approach and avoid forced interactions with him. Torta has previously lived well with other cats and enjoyed their company. It is unknown how he would do with dogs.
