Although Miska was initially heartworm positive, she has undergone treatment and is now fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready for a fresh start. While Miska remains a bit timid, she is making strides each day towards overcoming her past. It's apparent that she experienced abandonment and lacked the socialization she needed during her puppyhood. Despite her early challenges, Miska is dog-friendly and would thrive in a family environment filled with love, patience, and understanding. Miska deserves the opportunity to find happiness and have a family to call her own. She is currently adapting well in her temporary foster care, but she longs for a permanent home.
