How this pet arrived: This pet was rescued by a community member. Why this pet is the one for you: This is Dog! Dog is a beautiful red-eared slider who is ready for a new home! Red-eared sliders are an invasive species in California, and should go to prepared homes where they can live out their days in comfort, without being able to run (er, slowly walk) away. Although sliders can live in huge (100+ gallon) indoor aquariums, their ideal living situation is an outdoor pond with room to swim, bask, and explore. Dog's pond should be established and bioactive, or equipped with a filter to keep their pool clean! Red-eared sliders live long lives (20+ years), so Dog needs someone to provide for them in the long term. Dog enjoys turtle pellets, but they will need to be supplemented with a species-specific omnivorous diet. Dog can't wait to bask in the sun in their new home! Don't forget that little tiny turtle fence to keep them from going on any adventures. If you think Dog is the one for you, ask about them today! Primary Color: Green Weight: 2.9
