While initially timid, patience and time will allow him to blossom and form a strong bond with his new family. His curious spirit and emerging goofy personality add charm to his character, and he delights in playful romps in the yard and receiving affectionate gestures like head and belly rubs. Rufus is adaptable and gets along well with dogs and cats, displaying good manners and a gentle demeanor. While mostly house-trained, he benefits from having access to the yard for potty breaks, especially if left alone for extended periods. Continued leash and basic command training will further enhance his skills, as he is new to structured training. With a preference for human company, Rufus thrives in the presence of someone at home frequently. With love, patience, and ongoing support, Rufus is poised to become a cherished member of a caring and understanding family.
